Anat Baniel Method | NeuroMovement
Anat Baniel Method for Children I am no stranger to "movement." I began my journey as an Anat Baniel Method student in 2005 after 10 years of elementary school teaching. I was living in the Santa Cruz mountains with my husband and daughter. I graduated from basic training in February, 2007 living in Bend, OR with my husband and two daughters. I completed the children's mastery later in 2007 after my 3rd daughter was born. In 2010 the 5 of us moved to lovely Portland, OR. Now, the movement I focus on is within the incredible capacity of our nervous systems to make enormous powerful changes. I strongly believe that under the right conditions, our brains have the ability to form new neural pathways and surpass current limitation. I have the sincere pleasure to work with amazing families. I welcome adults on a pathway towards growth, change and healing. The Children I see are inspiring. I learn so much from the people who come for lessons. Along the way to becoming an ABM practitioner, I have realized, quite profoundly, that this work is my teaching. Whether working with an adult to provide pain relief and body reorganization, or children with special needs, I have found that each system is almost always available for potent change and learning. I will be the first to tell you that I have the best job in the world! Who are the learners?
